About Travel Concessions
Indian Railways provides fare concessions to specified categories of persons with disabilities subject to eligibility conditions and prescribed documentation. The applicable concession can depend on the disability category, class of travel and whether an escort is required. Rules, eligible categories, documentation and concession rates may change, so passengers should always confirm the current requirements with Indian Railways before booking or travelling.
Please verify current rules, eligibility and application requirements through the relevant official authority before taking action.
